These vegan falafel burgers use our original Wellnut Farms walnut butter made from locally sourced walnuts in California. 


1 Can Chickpeas, drained, rinsed and mashed
1/3 Red Onion, diced
1 Small Zucchini, grated
3 T Cilantro, chopped
3 t Red Wine Vinegar
1 t Sriracha Sauce
2 T Original Walnut Butter
1 t Cumin
1 t Garlic Powder
2 t Black Pepper
1/2 t Salt
3/4 C Quick Oats
1/4 C Hemp Hearts
2 T Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Add all ingredients to a bowl and mix well. Form 6-8 patties. Pan fry, or use a stovetop grill pan, for about 4-5 minutes on each side. Serve in a pita pocket, with a drizzle of tahini or any other condiment of choice.
